About the Basic Awareness Courses in Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults for Holistic Practitioners and Therapists

  • Both courses have been specifically designed to help holistic practitioners understand and recognise what may be presenting as a safeguarding concern and to know how to appropriately respond.
  • They are suitable for anyone working in England and Wales.
  • Both courses are accredited and so the certificates can be used in evidence of your continuing professional development.
  • The courses are delivered on line using Zoom, a user guide will be sent out with your joining instructions a week before the training. The courses are between 2.5 hours and 3 hours long depending on the amount of questions and discussion.

The feedback from therapists at the pilot session emphasised the need for this flexibility!
